The FHM 100 Sexiest Women in the World 2009 happened last July 09, 2009 (Thursday) at the World Trade Center Philippines in Metro Manila. The skies that afternoon foresees that there will be an unstoppable storm ahead and guess what it. It was absolutely right!
The day started with me leaving for Dasmariñas, Cavite (as usual hehehe) at around 4:00 in the afternoon for the call time which supposed to be at 7:00 in the evening. Yes, I was way too early for the event that day but have to anticipate the possible heavy traffic that day (which didn't happen). I arrived at the event at around pat 5:00 pm and saw a a crowd o mostly men both inside and outside of the World Trade Center. By the way it was also my first time to set foot on the World Trade Center in Metro Manila and my first Men's Event as well, so the event is really another first for me. I've waited for the others to came for me to get inside the event. This another "first" will not happen without the FHM event invite by a fellow blogger and friend Joriben of Jori's Entertainment Journal (http://www.joriben.com). They arrived at around 7:00 and waited for the others to arrive.
By around 8:00 pm we decided to enter the venue hall only to find out a crowd of men excited to see how the event will unfold (that is why it is called For Him Magazine hehehe).

So what if we are Non-VIP? What matters is the experience and the view ahahahaha. Really there is nothing really different between the VIP and the non-VIP area as I saw it. Probably the media partners, celebrities and the contests winners are the ones who were at the VIP side but all have the same view and experience.

While the "real event" hasn't started out yet I explored the various booths and took some pictures of some "great views" of their booths.
Took a shot of the folded FHM sexiest woman of 2009 emblem and every time there is something that is "folded" it always will be unfolds later hehehe. The question is when?
A couple of popular Filipino bands performed at the FHM 100 Sexiest Women in the World 2009 Party to set the right mood and to chill down the already enthusiastic and "hot" audience...
Itchy Worms played their best hits on the event to which got me singing (as well as most audience did).
Another popular Filipino rock band Sandwich performed at the FHM 100 Sexiest Women in the World 2009 Party. An incident regarding the Sandwich performance occurred during that event. I was puzzled first as to why a man was escorted out of the venue while the next rock group Kamikaze sets up on stage. After that week (I think around Monday), I saw a local news report regarding the FHM 100 Sexiest Women in the World 2009 Party about a guy filing a complain against Sandwich for an alleged attack on him by two of the group members after he showed his dismay when he was drencehd when the group vocalist threw water out of his mineral water on the audience. Glad I was a not there when the "water thing happened". After I saw that news everything was all cleared up. There was no longer a news of what happened after that event or to whether they settled it or the case got rolling. Moral lesson of the story, it doesn't give one the right (even how popular your status is as an entertainer) to throw water to a crowd of any event which is not yours.
Kamikaze entertained the male audience by cracking some jokes every after song as they featured their popular rock music on stage. I really was entertained and got me laughing over at their witty and humorous punchlines, and not to mention their great music (but I did mention it hehehe).
After all the band performance were done, the moment all the audience was waiting for has finally arrived.. the sexy women strutting on the FHM 100 Sexiest Women in the World 2009's catwalk...
The routine usually goes with the girls showing on the stage with barely a piece of clothes on covering their bodies which they will later remove showing off their "heavenly bodies" (now I'm starting to sound like most howling guys there ahahaha) but of course those sensitive and private parts are covered (uhm... partially hahaha) You'll be the judge with these next pictures:
Another feature is voting system where they can vote for their favorite women of each of the booths walking on the catwalk. The women with most of the votes or a crowd favorite will be featured on the next FHM Magazine Issue. I want number # please, Oh! I forgot. I don't have any cellphone load that time wahahaha.
The theme of the event was "Back To School" so FHM played with the male audience fantasy of a school of all girls. Thus calling it the FHM University. They presented and grouped the sexy models into different school departments and the sexy Filipina celebrities as faculties.
There were also various dance performance by some celebrities which I failed to took pictures of because my camera warns me that I am about to run out of batteries so I saved the remaining energy for the last.

Like I said earlier, the Philippines and World's Sexiest has finally been revealed which was the cue for the emblem's unfolding. See you next year guys!
Well, the audience got mixed reactions about the winner of Philippines sexiest women of FHM 100 Sexiest Women in the World 2009, Ms. Christine Reyes. Well I have doubts myself but hey what can I do I didn't participate in the FHM sexiest vote off. So if you want your pick to be the winner next time or in any form of election you should cast your vote and hope that everyone else will vote for that deserving someone (for you).
