Filipino music has taken a step back and has steadily decline over the past few years (if not decades) and this is because of a number of reasons. Rather than pondering on what almost destroyed it, let's look forward at what will build it anew. Hopefully the Philippine Popular Music Festival will become a consistent annual music event like what the Metro Manila Popular Music Festival (Metropop) has established before it. An annual event that will help rejuvenate the Philippine music industry by ushering in new all original Filipino music by creative and Filipino artists (Filipino composers and singers alike).

6cyclemind with Duster Chicks Mall Show at SM City Bacoor Front Row Access

Last August 30, 2009 (Sunday) after the SM City Bacoor WiFi Testing and Bloggers Event the marketing team offered us front row seating for the 6Cycle Mind mall show at SM City Bacoor, and we gladly welcomed the idea. Famous Filipino Band 6Cyclemind in partnership with SM City Malls have gone on a series of mall tour and shows to promote their latest album entitled Project 6cyclemind.

Looking back in the days, I often just pass by these Artist mall shows because I don't want to trouble myself brawling with the crowd just to get good view of the performance, though I don't really need to because of a height advantage. Nevertheless I am not that fund of watching mall shows but when the opportunity opens up, why not grab it? So after the Wi-Fi Testing event on the same ground of SM City Bacoor me, Az and two new acquaintances got a front row seat courtesy of the warm management of SM City Bacoor.

The all-woman band Duster Chicks was with the Project 6cyclemind mall tour to also promote their music...

After the band played some of their hits. A short game for the audience was played first while the 6Cyclemind team sets up their instruments.

After wrapping up one helluva mall show members of 6cylclemind attended to their loyal followers and fans by signing autographs on the cds and posters of their latest album.
